Weighs heavily on me like unwilling sleep."

  Metamorphosis

   © January 8, 1988

A Day that is
     will be
What had been

 A Dream that is
     will be
Or could have been

Thoughts poured out
     Harden like concrete
Then decay -- crumble
     To dust under feet

Changing, forming
     Decaying, dying
Invisible to visible
    Thoughts reviving

Dust we were
     Dust we'll become
     But it is the dust
Where life had begun

   ------------------------------------------------

 Thought:

"... for dust thou art,
and unto dust shalt thou return.
"
              Genesis 3:19  (KJV)
